The Digital Signage Experience is just a few short weeks away. The event is focused on the expansion of digital signage as a communication medium and the advancement of the digital signage community. The bright lights of digital signage will be there as well as the software that powers the networks. What makes the DSE special though, is the attendees. This is the end users, network operators, content creators, advertising companies, and the integration firms who will be there. At the heart of the show will be the educational platforms where attendees will learn about the latest and greatest in all areas and be able to network with likeminded individuals and compare ideas.



At the DSE, DSEG will be conducting a live version of our fundamental certification for the industry, the Digital Signage Certified Experts (DSCE) course. It will take place on November 16th, the day before the show opens. To reward those who want to become certified, DSEG in association with the DSE and the Digital Signage Federation is going to offer each participant at the live DSCE with an online certification of their choice, either for themselves, or to share with a colleague after the event.



This is our way of paying it forward to those who have made a commitment to digital signage knowledge, understanding, and professionalism.

Digital Signage Certification is a process by which individuals involved in the various elements of a digital signage network can gain the necessary expertise to better insure the success of their projects. A person should consider certification regardless of whether they are an end user or a systems integrator/distributor or a network owner or a manufacturer of puzzle pieces required to complete the deployment of a digital signage network.

There are currently four different courses that are offered by the Digital Signage Experts Group to achieve certification. Completing any one of the courses gains you certification and the right to use the appropriate certification recognition on your digital signature. Not all people need to take every course, as you will see from the following descriptions and outcomes expected when a class is finished. Many folks need to take at least two to make sure they have the proper understanding of the technology that goes into a digital signage network.
