Good news! We are almost to the Canadian border 💟

The last few days we’ve mostly just been putting miles behind us, playing Pokémon Go in our free time, and snuggling with our fur babies whenever we can. 🐾

I’ve also been fighting a little cold the last few days, but thankfully I’m finally starting to feel more on the up and up lol. As we’ve been making our way through Wyoming into Montana, the mountains have been getting bigger and bigger and it’s honestly been so pretty to watch.

We’ll probably be hanging around Montana for about a week while we wait for my passport to come in, which honestly will be nice. As exciting as this trip has been, it’ll feel good to slow down and relax in one place for a little bit before crossing into Canada.

Last night we watched Secondhand Lions out in the middle of nowhere since it was already downloaded on Olli’s phone and it was honestly such a cute movie. Definitely fit the cozy travel vibes.

And if you’ve been watching my stories… I SAW Mount Rushmore!!! 😭 It was amazing and honestly way cooler in person than I expected.

Still kinda crazy to think we’re actually doing this whole trip. ✨

Just a little update 💟

Currently making our way across the US — one state line, random stop, campfire night, and roadside memory at a time.

So far we’ve been through: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, & Illinois… with Nebraska, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana still ahead of us 😊

Honestly, this trip has already been such a mix of emotions in the best way. Some days feel like nonstop adventure — beach views, little roadside gems, swimming, meeting family, camp dinners under the stars, and watching Ozzy + the cats slowly adjust to life on the road 😂 Other moments are slower… long drives, reorganizing the car for the hundredth time, figuring things out as we go, and realizing how weirdly freeing it feels to live a little less rushed for once.

There’s been so many moments where I’ve looked around and thought, “wow… this is actually our life right now.”

A rooftop tent.
Too many snacks in the Jeep.
Sunburns.
Messy hair.
Gas station coffees.
Campfire conversations.

Tiny moments that somehow end up meaning the most.

And while this journey is leading us to Alaska, I think part of the beauty has been everything happening in-between. The people we’ve seen, the memories we’re making, the random little stops we never planned for, and learning how to just be present through it all.

Grateful for this season of life, even the chaotic parts 🤍

5:30am alarms, 7 brew runs, buc-ee’s snacks, beach days, bushwhackers in the sand, outlet wandering, moonshine tastings at OWA, and somehow still making it home/in bed by 9pm 😂☀️

honestly one of my favorite kinds of days.

just good people, spontaneous stops, a little chaos, lots of laughs, and the type of memories that don’t feel huge in the moment but end up meaning the most later. life’s felt pretty full lately in the best way 🤍

The last few days have been slower… and honestly? I’m kinda loving it 🫶🏻☀️

I think people picture road trips and moving to Alaska as constant chaos, adventure, and nonstop movement — but truthfully, a lot of this journey is also going to look like this.

Quiet moments. Rest days. Good food. Meaningful conversations. Stretching out the simple moments in between all the miles and miles of road ahead.

And ya know… it definitely hasn’t all been sunshine and rainbows on the adulting front 😅 there’s been hard phone calls, stress, planning, loose ends to tie up, and moments where everything feels a little overwhelming behind the scenes. But overall, this time has felt really special.

Wednesday morning started with breakfast and quality time with my mom 🤍 then later, Ozzy, Morgen, and I made a little adventure out of a trip to Yellowhammer Coffee, followed by a mile walk and some dog park zoomies for Ozzy 🐾☕️

Thursday was for catching up on sleep (desperately needed 😂), bringing my bestie Morgen and my mom to bungee, and getting to meet one of my inherited sisters for the very first time which was really special honestly.

And today? Today is calling for the cozy kinda memories. A good ole cookout, board games, a fire, probably too many snacks, and just soaking in the people around me before life speeds back up again 🔥

Followed by a weekend full of sunshine, laughs, good vibes, and making memories before the next stretch of road begins ☀️🧳

Learning that not every meaningful moment has to be some huge milestone. Sometimes it’s just slow mornings, coffee runs, campfire smoke in your clothes, belly laughs around a fire, and the people you love all in the same place 🤍

Oh ya know… just day one of the adventure in the books 🧳✨ Day 2 is officially underway.

One decision to stop ignoring the feeling in my chest that kept telling me there had to be more than surviving the work week.

One decision to stop convincing myself that being constantly exhausted was just “part of life.”

One decision to believe that maybe I wasn’t crazy for wanting freedom, flexibility, travel, peace, purpose… and a life that actually felt like mine.

Because truthfully, there was a point where I felt completely stuck in autopilot.

Wake up. Work long shifts. Come home drained. Repeat.

And while I’m grateful for every season that’s shaped me, I also had to be honest with myself… I didn’t want my entire life to pass by waiting for “someday.”

So I made an uncomfortable decision:

I started building something outside of my 9-5.

Not because I thought it would magically make me rich overnight.

Not because it was easy.
Not because I had everything figured out.
But because I wanted OPTIONS.

I wanted to wake up somewhere new someday and still have income coming in.

I wanted more time with people I love.
I wanted slower mornings, less stress, more adventure, more LIFE.

And honestly?
The beginning felt uncomfortable as hell.

Trying something new.
Putting myself online.
Learning business.
Being seen.
Failing publicly sometimes.
Outgrowing old versions of myself.

But staying stuck felt even more uncomfortable.
So if you’ve been feeling that pull toward “more” lately… this is your reminder that your dream life usually starts with a decision that scares you a little. 🤍

Not perfection.
Not confidence.
Just a decision.
