Busy is not productive.
Don’t confuse activity for productivity. Most people fill their days with motion and call it progress, then wonder why nothing moved.
Run every task through these four lenses:
1. Does it move the boat? If it isn’t making you or someone else better, it’s busy work.
2. The consequence test. If you stopped doing it, would anything actually happen? No consequences, no productivity.
3. Important, not urgent. That’s the highest ROI quadrant. Plan before things catch fire.
4. Producing or reducing? Every activity either builds income or quietly costs you. Pouring into your top performer produces. Choosing comfort reduces.
Here’s your homework: list everything you did in the last 24 hours and run each item through all four. Cut what fails every one.
The results won’t be instant. Like the gym, they compound.
