Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free. Behind every American flag are stories of courage, service, and individuals who dedicated their lives to something greater than themselves.

At Colonial Flag, we believe a flag is more than fabric—it is a symbol of freedom, sacrifice, and the people who have fought to protect the values it represents. Through the flags we raise in our communities and the memorials we help create, we are honored to play a small part in keeping those stories alive.

Every flag raised is a reminder of their sacrifice.
Every name remembered keeps a legacy alive.
Every moment of gratitude says something simple but powerful: we remember.

Today, we honor the fallen Marines who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, the memory of September 11, 2001 remains etched into the heart of our nation. We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

A 9/11 Anniversary Flag is more than a symbol, it is a quiet tribute to those we lost and a reminder of the strength, unity, and resilience that followed.

Today we remember with profound respect the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks: men, women, and children whose lives were taken that day, as well as those who were forever changed by that tragedy.
In front of the ruins of the World Trade Center, three New York firefighters raised the American flag. That image became a symbol of grief, courage, unity, and hope.
In Sandy, Utah, sculptor Stan Watts transformed that historic photograph into Hope Rising, a bronze sculpture approximately 9 feet tall. The monument was unveiled on September 10, 2011, marking the tenth anniversary of the attacks.
But beyond the bronze and the image it represents, this monument reminds us of those who were there: the victims, firefighters, police officers, rescuers, workers, and citizens who faced one of the most painful days in our history.
May we never forget.
May their lives never be reduced to a date.
