Wildwood hosted its 40th annual Kite Festival this Memorial Day Weekend !

The weather put a damper on the turnout, making it not exactly ideal for flying, but it was still cool to see these extraordinary kites, and talking with the folks who take part in this niche hobby!

Let’s hope that next MDW brings better weather so I can get the full Kite Festival experience !

If you’re coming to the Jersey Shore this summer, or you’re a South Jersey local, then this is the activity for you!!

Located at is ! An aerial obstacle and zip line course for kids ages 7+ with a minimum reach height of 4’6”, and a smaller course for those ages 4+.

There’s also the most advanced and longest course for children 10+ with a minimum reach height of 5’7”.

We actually did the intermediate course and it was just enough of a challenge, excitement and fun for us!

Give yourself 1.5-2.5hrs of time for the beginning safety briefing and the course itself.

I encourage you to visit the zoo either beforehand or after you do your Tree to Tree course! The Cape May Zoo is free, but donations are highly encouraged!

Check their website for hours of operation, pricing and more details! I also recommend that you book ahead online to guarantee a spot!
