"A penny saved is a penny earned". You've heard that before. You may even have said it.
It's from Poor Richard's Almanac, written by Benjamin Franklin in 1732. And it's still living rent-free in our heads almost 300 years later.
That's what a great idea does. It escapes the page.
I've had a front-row seat to this. When we launched Dan Pink's When, we helped promote the concept of a "nappuccino" — a 30-minute caffeine-powered nap. Years later, I still hear people talking about coffee naps. I even saw it mentioned on a sitcom.
