Today we share one volunteer's story about finding her passion at Victory,
Meet Karren . . . this September 22nd, the same day as North Texas Giving Day, will be her one-year anniversary of volunteering with us. When Karren first came to Victory, she was booth looking for an activity to fill her time and she drawn to the horses. She believes that coming to Victory was the answer to a prayer she didn’t know she had.
In her time here, she has volunteered over 700 hours and she reports that she not only feels fulfilled but she has made new friends and family. Not to mention meeting the love of her life, Metro, whom she has created an amazing bond with and now sponsors. Karren has also started riding in our silver spurs program so if you see her famous cheesecake in the rider bake sale, you should bid on it!
Karren is amazing, she takes care of our herd, our barn and is an extremely active member of the special events committee.
