OKAY LEGGO!
2020 recap
Started the year strong, like physically strong, preparing for shows, competitions, looking pretty good
Then it feel like the whole world fell apart
But you know what? I thought it was the best thing that’s happened
Even through the quarantine period, I took the risks to start businesses, faced the negative results that I usually would not face, it is the experiment that I needed in order to grow. Of course, I don’t have a picture of me falling on my face, but it is what happened, and it’s where I learned the most.
There are also successes! launched her book The Grace of Cancer and her brand, which I am so honored to be of help. Helping and with the launch of was also another experience!
I’ve also seen friends taking a leap of faith, seen people taking chances to start anew, got a group of people who is willing to do everything it takes to be successful.
Most importantly, of all the good and bad that happened in 2020, God brought this lady to me. The biggest fan, biggest support, and always there for me. Bringing me the fuel to keep working hard and strive to get more done. 😚🥰
And lastly, the improvement that I made for me, by me. I think this is over looked more than anything else. This is the part where we need to take time and all appreciate. I started the year with certain goals and aspirations, and wrote a note for myself down on 1/2/20, and today I got to open it. It says that this year was not the smoothest, which is an understatement... but it also said that no matter what happened, I was able to finish what I needed to finish. Like Snoop’s famous commencement speech...
“Last but not least, I want to thank me. I want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work, I wanna thank me for taking no days off. I wanna thank me for never quitting.”
Thank you 2020. It’s not a year that I wanted, but a year that I needed. 🙏🏻
With love and gratitude,
