🎉LAUNCH DAY!🎉⠀⠀
Congrats to on the launch of her new brand and website! This project was so fun to work on— not only because I’m such a fan of candle labels (who isn’t?!), but also because we were able to provide her with some killer product photography to match the vibe of her new brand! 😍⠀⠀
Holland came to me wanting to revamp her business earlier this year. She started selling her candles at the end of last year, but never felt connected to her brand; it just didn’t feel right. Her biggest goal was to gain clarity and direction when it came to the look and feel of her brand, so that’s exactly what we worked on! First and foremost, we nailed down her ideal customer— style, wants, needs, demographic. Then we built a design that merged Holland’s style with her customer’s style. We ended up with clean modern elements mixed with an overall natural boho style— creams and mauves, with a minimal look. And I gotta say, it’s a beauty 😍⠀⠀
I’m currently burning Farmers Market as a launch day celebration, but I can’t wait until I can burn Fen + Fern on a cool Fall day 🍂⠀⠀
Head to her profile, check out her website, and buy ALL the yummy smelling candles 😍 Cheers!⠀

From concept to real life— this project has been a dream to work on thus far!🌾⠀⠀
We started with the strategy to understand Holland’s ideal client and the new vibe she wanted to get across with her rebrand. Warm tones, with a minimal and boho touch.⠀⠀
Part of this project also includes product photography so that her new website will be able to have stunning images that match her newly defined style. Currently playing around with set-ups like this and loving every bit of it 😍 @ Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Congratulations to .mazzi.interiors on the launch of her new brand! 🍾🎉
I had such a fun time translating Sandie’s globally inspired interior aesthetic into her brand design with different symbols, textures, and patterns! For her brand we wanted to make sure that, above all, it was timeless and sophisticated. We were able to add unique character through the secondary design elements.

A master logo, primary logo, secondary logo, and a brand mark.. who would’ve guessed your brand would need all of these, and then some!⠀⠀
It’s important to have a variety of elements and logo variations so that you can account for all situations. For example, Reverie’s master logo (top right) went on a tee shirt design because it involves a lot of detail that needs to be the right size in order to be legible. A horizontal variation of her primary logo (middle right) was used as signage for the front of their salon. Her secondary logo (bottom) shows off some personality and was used for a hat design. And finally, one of their many brand marks (middle left) was used for their pattern design for their custom coffee cup sleeves.⠀⠀
Developing these variations shows off your business’s style as a whole and gives your audience a good idea of what you’re all about. Reverie’s brand matches the inside of their salon so perfectly for an all around cohesive brand experience 😍 check it out yourself 👉🏻

Celebrating the recent launch of today 🎉
Michelle wanted to focus on a more elegant and personal brand experience for her clients. She wanted to make sure that her new identity made her clients feel connected to her work and her message.
We created minimalistic icons to portray the intimate connections between two loved— something that Michelle loves to capture in her sessions. We also created a beautiful, hand-made flower pattern to represent all seasons of life. Her beautiful color palette works so well with the softness of her photography 💕
Congrats, Michelle! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for the printed packaging materials 😍 @ Albany, New York

I’m so excited to celebrate with in the launch of their brand and website! 👏🏻🎉
They reached out to me in the fall wanting a new brand and website that would accurately represent the high-end quality of their events. I focused on a design that was refined and sophisticated 😍
Their symbol represents the yin and yang balance that Maggie and Karlie bring to their business— one being more left brained and one being more right brained. I also loved that it was also a representation of their BB initials!
This project was a perfect example of a business that used a logo to get themselves up and running until they started to develop their defined style and built up a reputation. Once they felt comfortable in the direction of their business, they were comfortable enough to invest in a custom brand and website design.
Sometimes it’s necessary to develop a brand right away, and sometimes it’s better to wait. The important thing is making sure whatever route you take, it’s strategic for the success of your business! @ Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Today we’re celebrating the launch of 🥳🌸🥂
Jessica wanted a brand that was professional but still very personal. Because she works with her clients one-on-one, it was important that her brand be just as inviting as her process.
Her brand consists of a vibrant, warm palette and plenty of hand-made textures, patterns, and symbols that will help keep her identity fresh and versatile as she uses it. Her brand is designed to make her clients feel trusting, confident, and empowered through out a time that might seem overwhelming at first.

Today I lead my first workshop about branding at !⠀⠀
As an introvert, I was dreading this workshop because I had to speak in front of people. As a designer, I was excited to share all of my brand strategy knowledge in hopes that it would help at least one person out!⠀⠀
I’m so proud of myself for not taking the easy/comfortable way out by saying no to the opportunity. I had such a great time being able to speak about a topic that I’m so passionate about! Thank you for being a wonderful host ❤️

In December, I wrote a blog post for small business owners who might not understand the right time to invest into branding. I never got around to sharing it on Instagram, but in light of my workshop that I’m teaching tomorrow, I figured it’d be a good time to call attention to this post!⠀⠀
At the end of the day, you have to do what feels right for you and your business, but if you’ve ever questioned why you need to invest in a professional brand design, this post is for you!⠀⠀

2018 was one for the books. I finally quit my full-time job after years of trying to find the courage! It wasn’t an easy leap, but one that I knew I had to do in order to live a more fulfilling life ❤️⠀⠀
This new adventure wouldn’t have been even remotely possible if it wasn’t for these specific clients that trusted me to create a vision for their businesses. It takes a lot to be comfortable putting your faith in someone to be such a big part of your business (especially someone that you’ve never met!), and I’m forever grateful that they chose me 🥰⠀⠀
Here’s to more humbling and awesome clients in 2019! @ Stone Creek Coffee
