Our team just finished up a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) project for an art gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I was so happy with our results, I just had to share…

It took lots of work but we were able to increase site visits coming from from google from 300 per month to over 1,000! Unique visitors also more than doubled from 600 to 1,700 🤯 I can’t wait to hear how this will impact our client’s art sales.

What is SEO?

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is a strategy used to enhance a website’s visibility in organic, or non-paid, search engine results.

By understanding and implementing SEO strategies, you can help increase your website’s visibility and reach on the search engines, ultimately driving more traffic and potential customers to your site.

A next step on this project would be to dial-in the site content so the bounce rate goes down a little.

Our logo depicts an abstract figure sitting at a Navajo weaving loom stylized in the shape of the letter “H”. Yin-yang motifs show the balance creativity brings to our lives and references both the founder’s upbringing in Asia and her cultural beliefs as a Diné woman. 🤍

She has an Associate’s Degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from the Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2021, she completed a Master’s Degree in Management from Harvard University with a certificate in Digital Strategy.

Hello everyone! Sheyenne from Blank Canvas ABQ back to announce a pivot! Blank Canvas ABQ is now .mgmt. As most of you know, I am Diné (Navajo) and Hodza means Wisdom in our language.

I took a lot of time to evaluate what went right and where I could better serve the community. I learned a lot about myself and had so much valuable feedback from BC clients.

I learned that the part that personally motivated me the most about Blank Canvas wasn’t anything to do with managing a photo studio/event venue— it was helping awesome people do cool things! I am continually blown away by how much talent we have here in New Mexico. On more than one occasion, I would find myself helping photographers better monetize their offerings or improve marketing design or advertising reach. This is the kind of thing that I would do behind the scenes and still see as a need within this space so that’s why I decided to just rename this page. So, we are now HODZA.mgmt, an indigenous-led creative consulting and digital strategy firm.

By pivoting to HODZA.mgmt, I am making a commitment to work more within my skillset and capacity. You can read more about my background and see previous work by following the link in our bio.
