Two Scout Guide members are coming together for one of Santa Fe’s best summer dinners.

On Monday, August 3, COYOTE CAFE & CANTINA and Santacafé will host their annual dinner at Reunity Resources Farm & Compost, featuring a collaborative menu built around ingredients grown and harvested in Northern New Mexico.

The evening includes w**e pairings, live music, and a family-style dinner, with proceeds benefiting Reunity Resources and its work improving food access throughout Northern New Mexico.

The Scout Guide Santa Fe is about celebrating the people, places, and organizations that make Northern New Mexico extraordinary. Sometimes, that story begins with a dog named Benson 🐾

Benson is part of Española Humane’s Paws in the Pen program and the very first adoptable pup to join us behind the scenes at a Volume One photo shoot.

As we photograph our founding partners over the coming months, they’ll have the option to welcome an adoptable dog from Española Humane onto set. It’s a simple way to bring a little extra joy to the day while helping more incredible dogs find loving homes.

The partnership also highlights the inspiring work of the Paws in the Pen program, where shelter dogs are paired with inmate trainers at the Penitentiary of New Mexico. Through the program, dogs gain confidence and valuable training, the shelter creates much-needed space, and participants develop meaningful skills and a renewed sense of purpose. It’s a reminder that the best partnerships often change more than one life.

Volume One arrives in February 2027. Until then, we’ll be sharing the stories that bring the guide to life.
