I used to believe that to succeed,
I had to push.
To be taken seriously, I had to harden.
To be respected, I had to move fast
Make perfect choices
Take perfect action.
I thought this was masculine energy.
And I thought I had to become that.
But something is shifting.
In me.
In the world.
I’m learning that true masculine energy is not about force.
Not about performance.
Not about doing more.
It’s about presence.
Solid, grounded, loving presence.
The kind that holds you when you cry
That lets you dance without needing to lead
That stays, without needing to fix
That sees you, all of you
And doesn’t flinch.
This is the new masculine.
Not the one that pressures
But the one that protects
Not the one that rushes
But the one that waits
It is patient like a wise old tree
Expansive like the sky
Strong enough to hold the storm
Gentle enough to welcome the breeze
This kind of masculine allows the feminine to relax
To soften
To breathe
To trust
To be
And I am feeling the effects
In my nervous system
In my body
In my heart
It’s melting the walls I built
It’s inviting me home
We don’t need to hustle to be worthy
We don’t need to be hard to be safe
We don’t need to be perfect to be loved
True power lives in presence
In gentleness
In the invisible devotion
That doesn’t perform
But just is
We are in a new era now
Where our inner masculine is not here to dominate
But to hold space for our fullest, truest expression
🌿 This is the kind of safety that births freedom
🌿 This is the kind of power that invites softness
🌿 This is the kind of love that transforms everything
Which part of this new masculine are you remembering today?
