We do this once a month. But no two retreats are the same. The people who show up are different. The conversations are different.

When everything is moving towards homogeneity, standardization, and productization, this feels right.

You bring one problem/challenge.
We design the hour long intensive, in real time, to get you clarity and action plan.

Tailored to you.

That’s the idea behind Casa Dojo.
2 day intensive.
10 entrepreneurs.
1 giving spirit.

What creatives get wrong about generative AI and how to fix. Here’s my AI workflow in a nutshell.

Have a clear vision or direction before you start.
Provide references or better yet, input your own design, logo, typeset, etc…

Then be precise about what you want. Build in stages. Don’t try to get everything in a “one shot” prompt.

Critique the output. And at some point, it makes more sense to open Photoshop and edit it yourself.

Marketing is fishing.

And most businesses are fishing blind.

Here’s the framework:

1. Pick your fish.

Get specific about the client you actually want.

Different fish live in different waters.

2. Find where they feed.

Your ideal client has places they already spend their attention.

Go there.

3. Use the right bait.

Your offer has to be visible, relevant, and desirable to them.

Not to everyone.

To them.

4. Learn to read the bite.

Interest isn’t the same as commitment.

Watch the signals.

Ask questions.

Listen.

5. Don’t reel too fast.

A prospect shows interest and suddenly you start pushing, pitching, discounting, and closing.

Pull too hard and the line breaks.

Targeting gets you into the right water.

Positioning gets their attention.

Sales is knowing when to pull—and when to wait.

Are you trying to improve your fishing technique before deciding what fish you actually want?

Be happy with what you have, while you work for all you want.

If you’re caught in a loop of getting coached but not seeing results, chances are it’s not the coach. It’s you.

I’ve been fortunate in my life to have some of the best teachers. I credit them for my success.

But there’s one thing that allows me to be an excellent student. It might also help you get unstuck.

1. Pick your coach and commit. Stop auditioning.
2. Listen to what they say. No matter how uncomfortable.
3. Remain objective. Trust they have your best interest at heart.
4. Execute. Do what they say as faithfully as possible. Don’t put your spin on it. This way it will be clear which part didn’t work.
5. If it doesn’t work, make adjustments with your coach.
6. Big results come from small changes. Mostly belief systems and not tactics.

Big thanks to Dave Katague — AI Experience Designer & Educator for salvaging the audio. I didn’t use the mic correctly. Scratchy, muffled sound.

Your personal brand is not a group project.

Someone asked me:

“What happens when you want to include a business partner’s perspective in your personal brand?”

My answer?

It’s not *people* branding.

It’s *personal* branding.

One person.

Your entire life is already built around compromise.

What your clients want.

What your partner wants.

What your kids want.

Where to go.

What to eat.

What to say.

So ask yourself:

Do you really want to compromise on who you are, too?

Other people can contribute to the business.

They can disagree with you.

They can have their own point of view.

But they don’t get to define you.

Here’s the rule I try to live by:

If making you happy requires me to stop being me, I’m not interested.

Your personal brand should sound like you.

Think like you.

Believe like you.

Otherwise, whose brand are you building?

The best moments are unplanned.
They’re not structured or overly scripted.
They’re not overproduced.

That was our intention with Futur Club Haus.
No preset agenda— a loose structure that allows us to adapt to the individual and the problem.

We create space and spaces for this to happen organically. And leave room for magic to happen.

Day 2 dinner was an intimate gathering. Just new found friends, sharing good food and better conversation.

You never know what’s going to happen, or who might show up. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.

“Aging is an extraordinary process whereby you become the person you always should have been”
— David Bowie

When you let go of everyone else’s expectations of who you should be, how you should behave, what you should achieve, then you are finally free to be… yourself.

And, it’s such a liberating feeling.
You walk with greater purpose and intention.
You feel lighter.
You are clearer.

Everything is less complicated.

I wish this kind of joy for you.
In this lifetime or the next.

You’re not underpaid because you’re unqualified.

You’re underpaid because you stopped investing in yourself.
fitnessofficial went from $150 an hour to $500, maybe $1,000.

Not by working harder.

By studying deeper.

Thousands of hours understanding people, communication, and how to transfer ideas.

That’s what separates a $150 expert from a $1,000 one.

Your competition isn’t more talented.

They just outlearned you.

The question is, what are you doing about it?
