A lot of people have been asking me some version of the same question lately.
“So…what happened?”
And I get it.
I spent years building something people associated very closely with me. Then, seemingly all at once, I wasn’t there anymore.
There is a story there.
But maybe not the one you’re expecting.
This isn’t really a story about leaving something. It’s about recognizing when something else starts to feel a little bit more like you.
About following the ideas that won’t leave you alone.
About making room for creativity again.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, writing this inspired a blog. Not just a post, but a whole creative outlet I didn’t even know I needed.
A place to talk about homes and food and creativity and business and people and all the oddly specific things I’m curious about.
Maybe that’s what this season is really about.
Not walking away from something.
Just moving toward something that feels more like me right now.
