I’ve been really intentional in thinking and praying about what I want this year to feel and look like for my little photography business…

and it’s become more and more clear that I’m craving a slower, more present season.

So with that said, this year I’ll be offering (and honestly manifesting) more laid-back, documentary-style beach sessions.
The kind where you don’t show up wondering how to pose or if your kids will “behave.”

You show up for a beach day.
You play in the water, hold your babies close, chase sandy feet, laugh, snuggle, and just be together.

I’ll be there quietly capturing the in-between moments…
the emotions, the connection, the way this season of your family feels right now.

No stiff posing.
No forced smiles.

There’s something so sacred about black and white photographs for me…

When the color fades & the noise quiets, what’s left is the heart of the moment… the connection, the emotion, the fingerprints of God woven into the ordinary.

I think that’s why I love them so much. Because life is already full of distractions. We rush, we scroll, we chase the next best, beautiful thing. But black and white slows us down. It reminds us that beauty doesn’t need to be loud or perfect — it just needs to be real.

There’s no guessing where to look in a black and white photo. Your eyes go straight to what matters: the embrace, the laugh, or the love that holds it all together.

For me, these images will always be my favorite, because they are freezing time in a way that reveals the beautiful miracle of everyday life. The way light falls on a mother’s face as she holds her baby. The joy in a child’s grin. The comfort of a hand resting on a shoulder.

These images tell stories that color can’t. They whisper truth. They remind us that what’s eternal has never been about a perfectly polished appearance… it’s about love, connection, and the fleeting moments that reflect the goodness of our Creator.

Life feels really full right now—being a mom, homeschooling, running a business, and chasing a toddler around the house. Some days I wonder how it’s all going to get done, but the Lord keeps reminding me that it’s not about my striving, it’s about His sustaining.

Even in the midst of a busy season where marketing & Instagram are not my top priority, He continues to bring clients my way every single day. What a gift to know the pressure isn’t on me to have the “perfect” feed or post on a perfect schedule—He is the one who provides.

So grateful that He cares for both the big and the small things, and that I get to live out this calling while keeping my eyes on Him. 🫶🏼🙌🏻

This summer has been a whirlwind in the best way… Between sandy toes, golden sunsets, and traveling and tons of beach days, I had the honor of photographing 49 sessions.

Forty-nine families with stories worth remembering. Forty-nine opportunities to freeze time in the middle of a season that always passes too quickly.

It’s honestly been my busiest, most successful year yet—something I don’t take lightly. Even though I’m so behind on sharing (this sweet family was all the way back in early June!), I want you to know that I am SO grateful for… Every booking. Every family who chooses me over the 100’s of incredible photographers in this area. And for every ounce of growth.

This business is His, and I’m just grateful to play a small part in capturing your stories.

Here’s to a summer I’ll never forget—and to the memories that will outlast it.
