One last taste of Vella. 🧀

If you’ve ever loved Vella Cheese, you know this is more than just a piece of cheese on a market shelf.

After 94 years of making cheese by hand in Sonoma, the Vella family has closed the doors on production. The company announced that its retail store and mail order are now permanently closed, with only remaining aged cheeses making their way out into the community.

And right now, Molsberry Market has the last of its Vella stock — including this Old Fashioned Dry Jack.

Molsberry is a family-owned Santa Rosa market that has been part of the Larkfield community for generations, so there’s something especially fitting about finding these last pieces of a Sonoma food legacy here.

If you’ve been waiting for one last wedge, this is your last call.

And if you have a favorite Vella memory, tell us about it below. ❤️
