UPDATE: we no longer need fosters for the storm as we sent 33 animals out today and will have a small crew at HSSC on Tuesday before our storm riders report. STORM FOSTERS NEEDED! If you are safely sheltering in place in a non-flood/non-evacuation zone, we are urgently in need of cat and dog fosters for Hurricane Milton! We are at capacity and need to make space for animals coming from a shelter with outdoor-only kennels.
If you are willing to foster, come see us at 2331 15th Street in Sarasota. Walk-ins are welcome! Please complete the foster application, so we have your information upon arrival. But you DON'T NEED TO WAIT TO HEAR FROM US—you can just show up! We're open for foster pick-up until 6pm on Monday and 10am-2pm on Tuesday. We will provide food and supplies!
