For three years, it was just Donald Carlson and a tape measure. Driving all over the South Florida, fitting guys one at a time, out of his box truck.
That's the Tweeds Custom Suits origin story, and he shared it recently on Stir. He started the thing in 2019 with no showroom, no team, and no plan B. Just show up in a town, fit a client, do it again the next day somewhere else. They're TEN+ locations now. Still family run.
What gets me is he didn't grow by cutting corners on his product or service. He kept the main thing the main thing by focusing on the one-on-one attention, and he refused to lose that as he got bigger. Most people trade that away the second they scale. Not Donald. He's the real deal 💯
