Business owners should be setting up their own Google Ads 🤔

If you took away all of the confusing options in the Google Ads dashboard, no one would be better at setting up a Google Ads account than the business owner.

Tasks to set up Google Ads
1. pick keywords to show your ad for
2. create ads that make people trust that you are the solution
3. have a website that makes people reach out

That’s it.

I normally get 80% of the information I need for a Google Ads account straight from the owner.

The platforms have become more complex but the actual concept of advertising is as simple as it always has been.

I thought I knew when things would get easier...

I always told myself:

When you get one client, things will get easier.
When you have 10 clients, things will definitely get easier.
When you make enough to support your family, things will get easier.
When you have enough saved up, things will get easier.
When you hit this revenue goal, things will get easier.

I have slowly knocked down all of my original goals for my business and more, yet it does not feel easier.

This is what I have started saying to myself now when I think of a point in the future that this will all be easy.

“Growing a business will always be hard.
Stop trying to find the easy fix
and just find happiness in the challenge.”

I find happiness in my faith, my family, my friends, working hard on my business, working hard in the gym and golfing.

Life’s a journey.

WordPress Tutorial

WordPress runs over 40% of the internet and I will only build sites off of WordPress, unless it is for an ecommerce business and then I will use Shopify.

The backend of WordPress can be a bit intimidating if you are not a web developer but I show you around the dashboard in this video.

If you own or manage a website, you should definitely know how to login, update plugins, add users, change text and navigate around.
