To my lil Uso, Davis,
We celebrated your life in the most beautiful way. So many people came to honor you and show their love!! it was a true testament to the incredible person you are!! Peka and her girls danced with grace, even Bella joined in for you. Danny and his boys did a powerful HAKA. They even played your lord of the ring soundtrack. Aunty Mata performed and Tanya sang for you. Your mom gave her heart to you in a SIVA that moved everyone to smiles and tears. And, of course, all your KAVA boys were there, holding it down for you one last time.
It still feels like a bad dream that I haven’t woken up from. I keep hoping I’ll hear your laugh or see your smile or hear you singing out of tune again lol. The pain of losing you is unbearable, but I know you’re up there surrounded by love. Looking down on us!!
Life is so precious, Uso. It’s a gift we often take for granted. But I know that death is not the end, but the beginning of your next journey. Until we meet again, Davis, know that family is forever, and we’ll carry your memory with us in everything we do.
