FaceJam.org is an innovative new way to organize and promote all types of open jams. The back bone of FaceJam is the Jam calendar. Jammers are no longer dependent on the luck of the draw as to when and if they will get to play.Once registered you can sign up online up to a month beforehand to sing or play. The venue owner or house band will post the songs from our extensive (and growing) list of b

lues,jazz, classic rock, funk,punk and whatever. You sign up to play and the list is posted on the venues FaceJam group page. Fans and venue patrons can visit the calendar or group page and see who’s playing and when. Jammers are able to send out FB event invites to friends for the exact time they will be on stage. In addition to organizing the jam,we've developed a sophisticated social network marketing system and search engine optimization designed to bring clients and revenue to the venue. FaceJam.org is not an open mic or jam finder.
It is a powerful web based tool designed to make jams more efficient and profitable for both the clubs and musicians that host.

Here's Why:
-Posting songs online in advance of the show= more diversity of clientele and songs played (no need to hear Stormy Monday twice a night)
-Jammers and singers sign up online and know what time they're up and that the band will know the song.(28 yr olds singing Janis draw better than 45 yr olds playing Jimi)
-Jammers and singers are encouraged to send out Facebook invites and pack the bar. (print out the invite and present it for a drink special.The jammer who has most redemptions at end of the month wins the prize)
