🔥 Brawl in the Fall 2026! 🔥

What a great day yesterday at Mikolowski Makin’ Bacon Farms for the 2026 Brawl in the Fall BBQ Smoke Off!

A huge thank you to Curt and Tiffany for inviting Soo Apparel to be part of the event and, more importantly, for all the time and work they put into making it happen. This year’s event was a fundraiser benefiting the Sault High School Football team, and it was great to see so many people and local businesses come out to support it.

Soo Apparel was set up on-site doing the event shirts, and Michelle and I had a great day! As usual, my right hand kept things running smoothly while we got to meet a lot of new people, reconnect with others, and have some great conversations throughout the day.

One of my favorite parts of growing this business has been getting out into communities throughout the Eastern U.P., visiting places we may not otherwise get to see, and meeting the people behind so many of our local businesses, organizations and events.

We really are building Soo Apparel one customer and one relationship at a time. The word of mouth and support we’ve received has been incredible, and we don’t take any of it for granted.

Our goal is pretty simple: take care of people, provide great customer service, deliver quality products, and stand behind the work we do 100%. If we keep doing those things, everything else will follow.

Thank you again to Kurt, Tiffany, Mikolowski Makin’ Bacon Farms, all of the sponsors, competitors, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by our trailer yesterday. It was a great event, a great cause, and a great day with some great people.

🏈🏐🏃 School spirit season is in full swing at Soo Apparel!

Things have been moving about a hundred miles an hour around here, and we’ve been a little behind on sharing everything we’ve been up to, but we couldn’t let these great events go by without saying THANK YOU!

On August 27th, we had the opportunity to set up at the Brimley Bays’ first football tailgate of the season, and what a great night it was! The turnout was fantastic, and we had an awesome time visiting with students, families, coaches and everyone who came out to support the Bays. A huge thank you to the Brimley Bays Athletic Boosters for inviting us and for making us feel so welcome.

Then on September 2nd, we loaded everything back up and headed to the Rudyard Schools Open House! Once again, the response was incredible. We are extremely grateful to the Rudyard administration, staff, families and community for the hospitality and for continuing to trust Soo Apparel with your school apparel needs. 🧡🖤

And we aren't done yet!

📍 This Thursday, September 10th, we’re headed BACK TO BRIMLEY for the Brimley Bays Cross Country & Volleyball Tailgate! We’ve been working on new designs for both programs and can’t wait to be there supporting the Bays again. 💙🤍

One of the things we’re most proud of as Soo Apparel continues to grow is the relationships we are building with schools and athletic programs throughout the Eastern Upper Peninsula. We don’t just want to sell school shirts—we want to be a partner to these programs, show up at their events, create apparel their students and families are excited to wear, and help support them along the way.

There’s just something special about seeing a design come to life and then seeing an entire family wearing it! 💚

A couple weeks ago, we had the opportunity to create these custom shirts for the Stephenson Family Reunion in Newberry, and I absolutely love how they turned out.

⚾ Another Great Tournament Weekend! ⚾

This past weekend, Soo Apparel traveled to Gladstone for the Gladstone 9U Summer Slam Baseball Tournament, and it was another fantastic experience!

A huge thank-you to Coach Jacques for inviting us to be part of the tournament. I also want to give a special shout-out to Kelsey, a baseball mom from Marquette, who saw us in Harbor Springs at the Michigan Little League 8–10 State Championship and recommended Soo Apparel for the Gladstone event. That recommendation meant a lot and helped open another door for our growing business!

The entire Gladstone crew treated us incredibly well from the moment we arrived. It was great meeting more players, coaches and families, including teams that traveled over from Wisconsin, and watching another weekend of competitive youth baseball.

We also came away with more apparel work and several additional tournament opportunities. Soo Apparel continues to grow, and we are working hard to add more help, expand our resources and keep up with the demand.

It has been an incredible ride, and we are loving every minute of it. Thank you to everyone who continues to recommend us, support us and welcome us into your communities. We are excited to see where the Soo Apparel trailer heads next!

⚾️ What a weekend in Harbor Springs!

Soo Apparel was proud to be the official event merchandise partner for the Michigan Little League 8–10 State Tournament. We made a whole lot of hoodies and T-shirts, sold plenty of dumplings, and had a great time watching these young players compete and play their hearts out all weekend!

Congratulations to Taylor North, who defeated Grosse Pointe City 2–1 in a fantastic championship game today. Both teams played incredibly well and represented their communities proudly.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us! A special thank-you to Harbor Springs Little League President Richard Wren and the entire board for inviting us; Katie and Mike Harrison for running a first-class event and always making sure I had everything I needed—including a steady supply of Diet Coke! And thank you to Nate Jacques for recommending Soo Apparel for the tournament and making sure the power was on and we were set up for success all weekend.

Great baseball, great families and even better people. I’m grateful for the relationships built this weekend and look forward to working with this group again!

Another great weekend underway. This weekend I’m in Harbor Springs for the Michigan Little League 8-10 Year Old State Championship Tournament. 16 district champs from across Michigan have earned their shot at a state title, and I’m honored to be part of the experience. I made the trip across the Mackinac Bridge this morning, spent the day meeting families from all over the state, and now I’m headed back home to the Soo for the night before doing it again tomorrow. One of the best parts of this business is getting to take Soo Apparel all over Michigan while proudly representing Sault Ste. Marie wherever I go. Good luck to all 16 teams chasing a state title, and thank you to Harbor Springs Little League for the warm welcome. Looking forward to another great day tomorrow. , , , , , , , , .

🥎 This is one of those moments I will never forget.

On Friday, a young player and her mom stopped by the Soo Apparel trailer to purchase a tournament shirt. While they were there, she spotted the little dumplings we had for sale and immediately wanted one.

Her mom told her, “Maybe.”

The young player thought about it and asked, “What if I hit a home run today?”

Her mom agreed that if she hit a home run, she could come back and get one.

After I finished their shirt, I picked up a dumpling and handed it to her and told her, “You can have this one on me, but if you hit a home run today, I get the ball!”

We all laughed, they thanked me and headed off to her game.

Later that day she came walking back to the trailer with the biggest smile on her face and a softball in her hand.

Wouldn't you know it, she had hit a home run!

Even better, she had signed the ball and brought it back to give to me. I thought that was one of the coolest things ever. As a girl dad, the whole moment really hit me.

Her home-run ball will now be proudly displayed in the Soo Apparel store as a reminder of one of the best moments we have experienced at a tournament.

Thank you to her mom for allowing us to take this picture and share the story, and congratulations to this incredible young player on her home run!

That dumpling turned out to be a pretty good investment. ❤️🥎

🥎 What a great weekend at the Sault Girls Fastpitch Softball Invitational!

Going into Friday, we were a little nervous because smoke from the Canadian wildfires had caused several outdoor activities to be canceled throughout the area. Thankfully, Tournament Director Linda Bouvet must have put in a special order for clearer skies, because Friday arrived and we ended up with a beautiful weekend for softball!

Michelle and I were busy all three days—from the time we arrived until the last car left the parking lot—and we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Soo Apparel trailer and purchased a T-shirt, hoodie or even one of our little dumplings! Every purchase and conversation means a lot to us, and we truly appreciate all the support.

I also want to recognize Linda Bouvet and her entire tournament team. They ran a very organized and professional tournament, and it was clear how much work went into making the weekend enjoyable for the players, families and everyone involved.

Thank you for allowing Soo Apparel to be part of such a great weekend of softball in the Soo. We came home tired, grateful and with another great tournament full of memories! 🥎
