💙❤️ We are honored to have played a small part in supporting the athletes of SOMI Area 35 at the 2026 Summer Games. The compliments on the apparel mean a lot, but the real credit belongs to these incredible athletes and the coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters who make it all possible.

🏇 Between horse shows and getting the new storefront ready, it's been a busy few weeks!

This weekend we're back at the EUPHA Summer Show Series and having a great time watching these talented riders compete. The dedication these riders put into their horses and their riding is incredible, and it's been fun seeing many familiar faces return from last weekend.

Our mobile trailer has been busy creating custom apparel on-site, while back in town we're putting the finishing touches on the new Soo Apparel & Promotional Products location on Portage Avenue.

We're getting close.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this dream, stopped by the trailer, shared a post, placed an order, or simply offered words of encouragement. We couldn't do it without you.

🐴 What a great weekend at our first EUPHA Horse Show of the season!

We had the opportunity to serve as the official merchandise partner for the first of four EUPHA horse shows this summer, and it was a fantastic event.

One of the biggest hits of the weekend was our on-site customization. Riders, families, and fans were able to personalize hoodies and shirts right at the show with rider names, horse names, and custom sleeve prints. Watching people create something unique to them was a lot of fun and exactly why we invested in our mobile event trailer.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, and trusted us with your apparel. We learned a lot, had a great time, and we're already getting ready for Show #2 this coming weekend!

And one more exciting update...

🏪 The new Soo Apparel storefront on Portage Avenue is almost ready! We are putting the finishing touches on everything and hope to officially open later this week. More details coming very soon.

Thank you all for your patience, support, and encouragement as we continue to grow.

Everything I’ve been talking about… it’s all starting to come together.

Over the past few weeks, you’ve seen me introduce the team that’s helping build this.

Now here’s the other side of it.

I’ve been investing, heavily, into making this business something that can truly handle anything:

New truck.
New 24’ trailer built for on-site events.
New storefront getting ready to open.

This isn’t just about getting bigger, it’s about getting better.

👉 Faster turnaround
👉 On-site customization at a higher level
👉 A better overall experience for every customer

Whether it’s one shirt, a full team order, or running apparel at large events, I’m building this to do it the right way.

Next up — Abby

Abby is a current senior at Lake Superior State University — and she’s actually graduating tomorrow, which is an awesome accomplishment.

What makes this even cooler for me is that I’ve known Abby for a long time. She went to grade school with my oldest, so I’ve known her and her family for years.

Now seeing her all grown up, finishing college, and becoming part of what we’re building here — that’s what this is all about.

Abby is earning her degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management with a Wildlife Management concentration, and she’s got a bright future ahead of her.

She’ll be heading home for a few weeks after graduation, but will be back this summer and working with us — and I’m really glad to have her as part of the team.

Next up, I want to introduce Charlie.

Charlie and I go way back — we both went to Lake Superior State University in the late 90’s where we were history majors.

Life took us different directions, but we both ended up right back here in Sault Ste. Marie — and it’s been pretty special reconnecting and now building something together.

Charlie is a veteran, a longtime member of this community, and someone who has been there for me since the very beginning of this journey.

From helping patch drywall and paint my first location…
To now helping get the new place ready…
He’s always been there when I needed it.

He works at Lake State and is doing this part-time — not just for some extra money — but because that’s the kind of guy he is… always willing to help out an old friend.

Reliable. Loyal. Hardworking.

I want to start introducing the team that’s helping make all of this happen — and I’m starting with someone who has been there from the beginning.

Michelle.

When I first came to town last summer, Michelle was one of the first people I met — and she couldn’t have been more welcoming. Just a genuinely good person who goes out of her way to help people.

A lot of you probably already know her from Penny’s Kitchen, where she manages and has become a familiar face to so many in the community.

Since then, she’s been right by my side as I’ve been building this — and now she’s a huge part of what this business is becoming.

Hardworking. Reliable. Great with people.
And someone I trust completely.

She’s not just part of the team — she’s my right hand, and that’s not changing anytime soon.
