Sorry I haven’t been sharing for a while. Life gets in the way sometimes! I’ve been riding GG (Grey Ghost) every weekend and this particular day I wanted to spend some time in the saddle and clear my mind. I woke up Sunday morning and decided to do a sea to summit ride which is pretty easy to do in So Cal. Here’s a couple shots from the Carlsbad beach. Great day and great scenery!

Trailing three other riders being held up by a couple of RVs moving down this narrow road. the 79 doesn't have many places to pass in this area so we were jammed up for a while. This is rare though, I can go for miles without seeing anyone when I head out earlier in the morning. It's just me, the Spyder, and the wind. What could be better?

A shot on the 79 on the way to Julian. I love traveling down roads that have a tree canopy. It's one of my most peaceful parts of my rides. We're fortunate here in So Cal if you don't like the scenery jump on the bike. Two hours later you're surrounded by a completely different landscape!

A final shot from the trip to Lake Henshaw. In front of GG you can see an older cycle with a sidecar. Another type of trike out getting some miles in and enjoying the day. It looked like he had been out for a few days, the sidecar had a sleeping bag and a tent in it. Camping off the Spyder is something I've been looking into, it looks like it'd be a great way to ride cross country.

Another shot from the trip to Lake Henshaw a couple of weeks ago. The lake is really down and very quiet. This ride was 125 miles, I'm really looking forward to getting out on some longer trips later this year.
