🙌🙌 VIP IN THE HOUSE!! ✨✨

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Bryan Schulz, General Manager of the 🎡🎠🎟️Kansas State Fair, to Mixdesign for a day of collaboration, brainstorming, and planning as we continue shaping the exciting renovation vision for the Kansas State Fair’s 2027 transformation.

As part of his visit, we toured Fair Oaks Farms, 🐄🐄🤠showcasing the immersive experiences and storytelling 📕environments our team helped bring to life. The tour provided an opportunity to explore how thoughtful design can create memorable guest experiences while honoring the unique character and heritage of a destination.

Back at our office, we spent the day working together, exchanging ideas, and laying the groundwork for what promises to be an exciting new chapter for the Kansas State Fair. We are grateful for Bryan’s partnership, insight, and enthusiasm as we collaborate on a project that will serve fairgoers and the Kansas community for generations to come. 📕🎟️🙌✨🎡🐄

We look forward to sharing more as the vision for 2027 continues to take shape.

✨SUPER EXCITING NEWS!! 🔑✨

We have big ideas, power tools and most importantly, we have the key !!!🛠️🔑🙌🤯

We’re beyond excited to announce that Mixdesign has officially purchased a new building in Demotte, Indiana! This is a huge step forward as we continue growing our Bring It to Life services and expanding our ability to create bigger, better, and more immersive projects for our clients. Our offices will remain in Hebron in The Design Barn as we help make way for the design barn to also expand!!!

This new 14,000 sf shop will become home to our creative rollout team and provide space for additional carpenters, welders, fabricators, and makers who help transform ideas into reality. From custom builds and attractions to one-of-a-kind experiences and installations, we’re gearing up to bring even more amazing projects to life across the country.

The work starts now, and we’ll be sharing the transformation every step of the way.

🚀 Big dreams.

What an HONOR this week has been. Tuesday we had the privilege of hosting the United States Department of Agriculture’s Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, Stephan Vaden and Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director, Don Lamb. We co- hosted a farmer’s round table and assisted The State in Rolling out the red carpet for he and his team’s arrival. We had the opportunity to team up with our event team to create a spectacular farm to table dinner produced and raised by all local Indiana farms. We had the opportunity to discuss, firsthand, the issues and exciting things happening for farmers in our part of the country as well as Mr. Vader‘s collaboration on behalf of the Usda. It was an exciting moment for us to receive such attention in the agriculture sector for our efforts in Agriculture as we were able to tell our story about telling the story of agriculture to the heads of agriculture in our state and our country. They loved our work and we thanked each other over lunch. What a compliment to receive their attention all the way in Hebron, Indiana. We did our best to represent the Hoosier state and create a memorable experience for his team, even his Secret Service were amazing to meet. Such a cool experience! We can’t think Indiana enough for choosing us to cohost. What an honor!

From hidden surprises to hands-on learning, this one was built to spark curiosity 🌾

We recently partnered with our good friends at Texas Farm Bureau to create an experience that helps visitors separate farming facts from fiction. Featuring real Texas farmers, interactive elements, and plenty of unexpected discoveries along the way, this project was designed to make agriculture education engaging for every age.

From flip panels and glowing reveals to custom-built details throughout the trailer, this one was all about creating moments people remember. We can’t wait for Texas fairgoers to experience it for themselves!
