While we work to share client stories, we often forget to tell our own tale. Tale to Tell was thrilled to once again have our work recognized by PRSA San Antonio in its annual Del Oro Awards. Tale to Tell won two Awards of Excellence: an El Bronce recognizing the campaign that landed the The Briscoe Western Art Museum on the cover of Cowboys & Indians Magazine and a La Plata for the marketing campaign for Public Relations Society of America - Southwest District's 2024 conference. We're grateful to be a part of PRSA and honored to have our work recognized.

A weekend of art that stretches into a six-week exhibition, Briscoe Museum Night of Artists features more than 270 works of art from 85 of today's top Western artists. Every work tells a tale and we're honored to share that story with outlets like Cowboys & Indians Magazine. If you're in San Antonio, don't miss the opportunity to see the exhibition before it closes on May 11.

Thomas Blackshear II, Gladys Roldan-de-Moras, and more leaders in Western art shine at the Briscoe’s 2025 Night of Artists exhibition and sale.

Each year, The Briscoe Western Art Museum honors the philanthropic and community-minded legacy of its namesakes, Gov. Dolph and Janey Briscoe, by spotlighting someone who has had an impact on the museum and the community. The legendary Rosemary Kowalski, as well as her amazing children and grandchildren who are leading The RK Group in its 78th year of supporting San Antonio, exemplify the value of supporting your community. It was an honor to be a part of this year's celebration and toast Rosemary, who is celebrating 100 years (+22 days as she counts each one). And may we all follow the Briscoes and the Kolwalskis examples, working to leave our community a bit better than we found it.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended the award luncheon honoring the Kowalski Family as the 2024 recipients of the Dolph & Janey Briscoe Legacy Award. Your presence made the celebration truly special!

A special thank you to the Kowalski family for their unwavering dedication to our community and for the incredible impact they have made through their generosity and leadership. Your commitment to education, the arts, and local initiatives inspires us all.

Giving back to the profession and supporting fellow pros is part of Tale to Tell's DNA thanks to Founder and CEO Dawn Robinette, APR. Why does it matter? Because it makes our profession stronger, grows leadership skills and builds lasting connections that benefit the clients we work with. We're looking forward to a fantastic Public Relations Society of America - Southwest District conference and hope to see you there!

Seeing -- and celebrating -- amazing women leaders never gets old. The 2024 San Antonio Business Journal Women's Leadership Award honorees are making San Antonio stronger and building a roadmap for future women leaders. We applaud all of the 2024 honorees and especially The Briscoe Western Art Museum's President and CEO Liz Jackson. Thank you all for setting the bar and showing how its done, all while leading with passion and empathy.

Art tells stories and in this case, a first-ever painting on the cover of Cowboys & Indians Magazine is the result of telling the tale of the The Briscoe Western Art Museum and its fantastic permanent collection. We are honored to have worked with the museum and magazine teams to make this historic cover a reality -- and the inside feature on the Briscoe's collection is as stunning as the museum itself. The issue hits newsstands July 16 and we can't wait to see it in person!

For our August/September issue, the The Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio selected a dozen works from its collection that beautifully capture and celebrate the American West. You'll find one of the works — a painting of a Sioux fire maker by artist Kathryn Woodman Leighton — on the cover of the issue.

This marks the first time a painting has graced the cover of the magazine in its three-plus decades of production. Purchase the August/September issue on newsstands July 16, or online today: https://ow.ly/AnYv50SxeVs
