Luvie Wines was inspired by Luvie Johnson Thomas (May 10, 1899–January 1, 1990) who crafted elderberry wine enjoyed by family and friends. Her great-grandson, Phillip L. Thomas, now produces Luvie Wines on a larger scale, honoring the original recipe with his own modern approach.
