Your kid’s binder obsession finally has somewhere to go this weekend. 🌵
The Cactus TCG Show is back in Mesa and it’s free. 120+ vendor tables of Pokémon, One Piece, Lorcana, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, sports cards, slabs, sealed, singles, plus Funko Pops, plushies and handmade goods from local artists.
Giveaways run every hour and they’re giving away a Nintendo Switch 2 each day. Grab a free raffle ticket at the door.

85 acres in Queen Creek, and the playground alone is worth the drive. 🛝

Frontier Family Park built its play structure right into the side of a hill.
It’s inclusive, Arizona-themed, fully fenced, with shade over the swings and
the zip lines. The splash pad sits right next door, so kids bounce between
the two all morning.

And yes, there’s more: a 5-acre stocked fishing lake, 24 pickleball courts,
six lighted ballfields, sand volleyball, and a 1.5-mile loop around the
perimeter. Ten ramadas means you can claim a shady table and actually stay
through lunch. (Anyone 10 and up needs a fishing license for the lake.)

El Grito comes to Chandler, and there’s a free story hour
downtown to start the day.

Dr. A.J. Chandler Park hosts Dia de Fiesta Saturday afternoon
through 10pm, free and built for families. Earlier that morning
the Irish Cultural Center runs a free story hour, and Airbase
Arizona opens up for Family Day. Sunday, Kiwanis Park in Tempe
does Grandparents Day Grand Fest.

And just in time for all of the end of summer fun!!

The Boardwalk Big Wheel at Arizona Boardwalk is officially the Valley’s first permanently fixed outdoor Ferris wheel, and it’s giving us ALL the family-fun vibes.
