Getting leads is one thing. Getting them to actually show up + say yes is another.

If your leads keep ghosting after a consult, it’s usually not because they “weren’t serious.”
→It’s because your follow-up + next steps aren’t structured.

Here are 3 reasons leads ghost after a consultation:
1) There’s no clear “next step” (so urgency disappears).
If they leave the consult thinking “I’ll decide later,” you’ve already lost momentum.

→ Fix: end every consult with one clear next step: “Here’s what we’re doing, here’s the link, here’s the deadline, here’s what happens next.”

2) Your follow-up is too slow or too passive.
A “Just checking in” message days later won’t revive a cold lead.

→ Fix: follow up the same day with a confident recap + a decision prompt (and have an automated sequence for the next 7–10 days).

3) You’re not handling the real objection.
Most ghosting is an unspoken “I’m unsure about price / pain / downtime / timing / trust.”

Low-quality leads usually aren’t a “more leads” problem.
They’re a filtering problem.

Most of the time it comes down to one of these:
→ targeting is too broad (or optimized for clicks, not conversions)
→ your offer attracts bargain shoppers
→ messaging is unclear, so the wrong people raise their hand
→ your form isn’t qualifying
→ follow-up is slow, so only window shoppers stick around
