LaPado Consulting, on behalf of Dynabook (formerly Toshiba) is looking for highly motivated & self-driven Channel Sales Representatives to join our team. As a Channel Sales Representative, you’ll understand the importance of strong customer service, have a knack for closing deals, and be self-assured. You’ll be responsible for utilizing your knowledge of technology, and our products and services to connect with and generate channel sales. You’ll develop sales pitches to sell products and services, build and follow up on sales leads and explore prospective resellers, maintaining documentation of those connections for other team members to draw on.
While the main responsibilities of a Sales Representative revolve around the ability to network, build relationships with clients and increase sales, there is a wide range of duties in this position, including, but not limited to:
• Be knowledgeable about our products, services, and operational procedures and be able to answer all questions to resellers and other partners
• Be familiar with our company’s history and successes, and be able to convey them to potential resellers
• Prospect and qualify new sales leads, including existing leads, maintaining a well-developed pipeline of prospects
• Schedule meetings, create and deliver custom presentations with prospective partners
• Track all sales activities in company CRM system and update information regularly
• Communicate reseller pain points to appropriate departments
• Meet and/or exceed quotas set by you and your team
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize sales efforts
The ideal Channel Sales Representatives will have:
• Interpersonal skills and a broad range of industry experience to create relationships with a wide variety of professionals of varying backgrounds
• Confidence and strong self-assuredness to regularly make big, bold moves
• Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of our products
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Experience as an innovator and a leader in Channel Sales
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
• Proven track record of successfully managing reseller relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of CRM systems
In addition, all new Channel Sales Reps will receive internal training and instruction and will be supervised by a field sales manager.
