Finally, halfway through the semester! Here is your weekly professional tip!
The only way to develop both personally and professionally, especially in college, is to first understand what needs to be developed in the first place. Self-reflection and taking responsibility for your actions is important to your process of improvement. College is the time to improve and grow and that will only happen if you have goals set on what skills you want to enhance. Learning from your mistakes in a professional environment will not only help you in the future but will show your employees and those around you that you are able to correct and become better from your mistakes.

Our devices help us connect with others who we otherwise would not be able to, but may also ruin relationships with things right in front of us. Putting down your phone during a conversation, a meal, or a meeting can improve what you get out of the situation. Try doing this slowly and see how much your interactions change!
