Last month, Craftpix brought 30+ local service business owners and operators together for a different kind of AI conversation.

A networking mixer + panel discussion on growth, technology, and AI focused on what is actually working inside local businesses.

Great turnout. Great energy. And a strong signal that this room should exist.

The idea is simple: bring local operators together to trade notes, build relationships, and talk honestly about what is actually working without the hype.

A huge thank you to our panelists: Ryan Garza of Lighthouse Plumbing LLC, Brett Farrington of Renova Exteriors, Molly Beyer of MK Beyer & Associates, and Behrang Assadi of EV Guys for sharing their entrepreneurial stories and keeping the AI conversation grounded: where it saves time, where it helps, and where human judgment and relationships still matter.

Thank you as well to Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce and Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors of Washington for helping spread the word, and to Foundations for the space.

My biggest takeaway: this AI wave feels different. Mobile and cloud took years to reach many small businesses. AI is already showing up in local service businesses, even in trades and home services, because the ROI is becoming obvious.

This was event #1. We’ll keep hosting these and building an invite-only community for local service business owners and operators who want to learn from each other.
