Ever loved something on someone else… then hated it on yourself?

Here’s the truth: it’s rarely about the clothes being “wrong.” It’s usually about body proportions.

Two people can wear the exact same garment and have completely different results because their proportions are different—longer legs, a shorter torso, broader shoulders, a defined waist, or none of the above.

When you understand your own proportions, shopping gets simpler. You start to recognize why certain silhouettes feel effortless and why others never quite work, no matter how much you want them to.

And that’s the shift:
Instead of assuming something is wrong with you, you learn what works for you.

These are the kinds of conversations we dive into during a style analysis—understanding your unique proportions and translating that knowledge into real-life wardrobe choices.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start dressing with confidence, I’d love to guide you.

The winner?? 🥇 you might be surprised. It isn’t the most expensive ones, it is the cheapest.

For me, it is the CRZ yoga set from Amazon and the Quince Supersoft Fleece. The rest are going back.

Aritzia quality was fantastic but it felt too much like old school sweatpants to me. That’s popular with the kids these days but made me feel too frumpy.

Athleta was a hard pass. The fabric is too thin. I felt like I was wearing Jammie’s, not a cute set for running errands in public.

I love the half zip sweatshirt from Spanx. Full disclosure, I own three. However, it pulls terribly very fast and even plain water leaves marks that require a full washing to remove. Great fit and style but too high maintenance - and the most expensive.

The CRZ set is amazing. Doesn’t get water marks like Spanx and has more structure so it holds shape. Nice seaming details. This set is a total winner for me - also comes in a crew neck top if you prefer.

The Quince supersoft fleece pants are my absolute favorite. I prefer the full-zip hoody over the popover shown here but regardless, super cozy. Somehow also thin but doesn’t go Jammie vibes.

Questions?? Let me know - and happy shopping!

Gold or silver? It matters.

If you’ve ever loved a piece of jewelry on the rack but never worn it, the metal may be working against you.

Knowing your best metals instantly sharpens your look and makes every accessory feel intentional—not accidental. If your goal in 2026 is a curated, intentional wardrobe, this is information you need to have.

Book a color analysis to learn which metals light you up and start choosing jewelry with confidence.

Don’t make these shopping mistakes.

It’s natural to want to look cute when you head to the mall, but the wrong outfit can make shopping far more frustrating than it needs to be.

Skip jumpsuits, dresses, or anything fussy to take on and off. A simple T-shirt works best—it won’t compete with what you’re trying on or skew your opinion of a piece.

This isn’t the moment for statement jewelry. Stick to your everyday basics. Anything oversized, noisy, or snag-prone becomes a distraction in the fitting room.

Check the weather before you go. Being overheated or lugging around a coat, scarf, and hat will drain your energy fast—even if the outfit looked cute leaving the house.

Choose comfortable, easy shoes. Heels and lace-up boots slow you down and wear you out. A slip-on flat, simple sneaker, or zip-up boot is ideal.

Carry a hands-free bag. A crossbody, belt bag, or secure shoulder bag keeps your hands free for racks, garments, and shopping bags. Heavy handbags lead to fatigue.

Keep makeup simple. A neutral, everyday look won’t clash with what you’re trying on and lets the clothing speak for itself.

And don’t forget your color fan. Before anything comes home with you, it should meet four criteria:
1. it’s in your colors
2. it fits and flatters your silhouette
3. it suits your clothing personality
4. it feels like a 9 or 10

If your goal for 2026 is a more curated closet, these rules will get you there faster.

One last thing: never shop hungry. Hydrated and fed is the move.

Kim

Still think wearing the wrong colors doesn’t matter? Look again.

On the left, cool gray and cool-toned makeup drain her warmth, flatten her features, and add years she absolutely does not need.

On the right, her Autumn colors bring back warmth, brightness, and that effortless, youthful glow.

This isn’t about trends or taste.

It’s about how color interacts with your skin, eyes, and natural contrast. When the palette is right, everything lifts. When it’s wrong, even great makeup can’t save it.

Bright doesn’t mean the same thing for everyone.

Spring and Autumn both wear color boldly, but the quality of that brightness is totally different.

Spring brights are clear, warm, and lively — think fresh, juicy, and light-filled.

Autumn brights are richer and deeper — more spiced, grounded, and earthy.

When you know which kind of bright belongs to you, color stops feeling loud and starts feeling right.

Here’s the secret to yellow: the undertone decides everything.

Warm seasons — Spring and Autumn — look incredible in golden, sunshine-filled yellows and true, fresh oranges that brighten their features.

Cool seasons wear yellows that behave totally differently. Summer and Winter need blue in their yellows to keep them cool, which gives these shades a soft green cast.

That’s why Winters look amazing in bold, almost-neon yellows… and Summers glow in airy Primrose hues.

Think everyone looks best in black? Watch this.

One second she’s covered in black… then the right colors come forward, and suddenly she’s glowing, smiling, and looking straight at the camera like, oh… there I am.

That shift isn’t subtle.

When you’re in your true colors, your skin looks brighter, your features come alive, and getting dressed stops feeling like work. It’s confidence you can feel — every single day.
