Frank Lauricella runs Remarkable Group in Hamilton, Ontario. He said the quiet part:

"If my sales guy can get into the house, he has an 80% close rate on these jobs."

Which tells you where the bottleneck really sits. It is not closing. It is getting in the door with someone who actually wants a generator.

Frank on what arrives:

"The lead quality has been really, really good. We have full information. We have phone, address, email."

So here is how we work, in plain terms.

We build and run the ads, the landing page, the follow up and the booking. The ads run from your own ad account, so the account, the data and the leads stay yours. No per lead fee. Month to month.

The objection we hear more than any other is that paid generator leads are tire kickers.

Tyler Eshleman runs Tripped Electric in Snohomish, Washington. Here is how he describes what comes in:

"Every lead that does come in is genuine. You know, there are people that are actually willing to talk to you wanting to get an estimate on a quote or get an estimate on a generator."

And the number behind it:

"We are closing somewhere around, I would have to say maybe 30% of the leads that come through, you know, close within the first 30 days."

Thirty percent inside thirty days is not a lead problem. It is a business.

The reason the objection exists at all is that most generator lead lists are sold to four companies at once. When the lead is generated for you and comes to you first, the conversation on the phone is a different conversation.

Mark Veach runs PWR House Generator in Houston. Ask him what four months looked like and you get an answer that sounds like a shrug until you do the arithmetic:

"Honestly, I don't know how many installs we've done in the last four months. I'm gonna say somewhere between 25 a month, four months, that's 100. And we normally do 100 a year."

A year of work in a third of the time.

What that does to a business is not really a marketing story. It is a hiring and payroll story:

"I've literally doubled my employees. I've doubled my revenue. I've got a full-time salesperson."

That is the part worth planning for before it happens. Volume like that arrives as a scheduling problem first and a good year second, and the installers who get through it are the ones who hired ahead of it instead of behind it.

Jamie runs GenTech Northwest in Kingston, Washington. He put the whole mechanism in one sentence:

"The quicker you respond to that lead, it's probably minutes later after they filled out the form, the easier it is to get ahold of these people."

Minutes. Not the same day. Not when you get off the roof.

A homeowner who just filled out a generator form is sitting there with the phone in their hand and a reason to be worried. An hour later they are back to their life, and two other companies have called.

Jamie also said this, which is the other half of it:

"I will bet you that we have probably a 50% higher close rate because the leads are much better quality than we did before."

Better leads and faster contact are not two separate projects. They are the same job.

Sean Kennedy runs Southeast Electrical Services outside Milwaukee. Before March of this year he had never installed a single home standby generator.

"We've went from zero generator installs, three months later I've sold almost $400,000 worth. So it works. You just have to follow what you guys say."

The part people skip is the second sentence.

Sean did not have a generator division to scale. He had an electrical company, a willingness to answer the phone fast, and a system that fed it. When three tornadoes took out his service area, the auto responders were already written and the calls were already routed.

He also became a Generac elite dealer in about a month, from zero.

Garrett Howard at Alameda Electric put his result in the least dramatic way anyone has:

"We do three to four generators a month that come from Swift Social. We get probably four to five leads every week, at least."

Three or four a month. Every month.

Nobody builds a highlight reel out of that, which is exactly why it is worth saying out loud. Steady beats spectacular when you are trying to plan a crew a month ahead.

How our side of it works, plainly, because this space is full of vague offers. You run the ads from your own ad account, so the account, the data and the leads stay yours. We do not charge per lead. Month to month, no long contract. Home standby generator installers only, which is why the ads already know what works in your area.

08/20/2026

Tyler Polanco at Redwood Electric had already been through it before we ever spoke:

"We've been through, I think 10 or 15 marketers, not specifically for generators, but in general with almost zero results at all."

Ten or fifteen. Almost zero.

That is not bad luck fifteen times in a row. That is what happens when you buy traffic and call it marketing.

Traffic is people seeing something. A channel is people seeing something, raising their hand, getting an answer fast, and ending up on your calendar. Most of what gets sold to contractors covers the first step and leaves the other three to you.

Tyler's close rate tells the second half: "I think my close rate was 25% only because I'm inexperienced in closing, but after those tactics, it's up 60, 70% as of right now."

The leads changed. So did what happened after they arrived.

Trey Hester runs Hester's Electrical Service in Jackson, Mississippi.

Generator work used to be something he went and found himself, one customer at a time, on top of running everything else.

What changed was where the jobs came from. Instead of chasing them, they arrived.

In his words: "In 3 weeks out of probably around 18 or so leads, I don't know. It was just like everyone was, you know, to get the install done and so, you know, about 12 out of 18 in a 3 week period."

Twelve installs out of eighteen leads, in three weeks.

He said something else that matters more if you are deciding whether any of this is worth it: "I would say right now, 90% of any generator leads are coming from your ad and your service."

That is the difference between generator work being a side effect and generator work being a channel.

08/18/2026

The National Hurricane Center puts the peak of the Atlantic season on September 10, with most activity between mid August and mid October. That date does not move.

So the calls are coming in about four weeks.

Here is the trouble with waiting for them. A homeowner who calls you the day after his power goes out is calling nine other people the same afternoon. You are one of ten quotes, and the fastest answer usually takes the job.

Mike Morgan at Advanced Electric and Air described his side of it plainly: "It's cookie cutter, man. We get the emails, we give them a call."

That only reads as simple because the leads were already arriving before the weather did. Starting to build that in September is starting late.

Greg runs Priority Electric and Lighting. Greg put it this way:

"We went from, I would say, maybe we probably get two to five leads a day through you guys. And yeah, I think we did 100 and we probably had 130 leads come in, in about six days."

Six days.

The number is not really the point. The point is that he can now say what a normal week looks like. Before, generator work turned up when it turned up, and you built the schedule around whatever arrived.
