Turns out, the best career advice might also be the simplest: Be genuine. Be yourself.
Our Director of People & Culture, DBT, recently joined AAF’s Career Lab, connecting with emerging talent hungry to learn how to stand out. His advice? If you’re in the room, you already have something valuable to offer. Tell your story. Own what you’re good at. And above all, be yourself.

Because the best way to stand out isn’t to sound like everyone else. It’s to sound like you. 💪🏽

Thanks to AAF Seattle for this meaningful forum and to DBT for representing Copacino Fujikado and helping the next generation of talent find their voice!

Ben Holman, our Director of Performance Marketing, has a message for marketers: SEO is dead. Well, at least as we knew it. As AI-powered search creates a zero-click world, rankings and traffic are giving way to something new: semantic authority.

Ben breaks down what the shift means for brands and why winning search now depends less on being clicked and more on being understood. Read his article: “SEO Is Dead. Here’s How to Win the Zero-Click Consumer” in Advertisingweek 🔗 https://loom.ly/-KIm1Fg

Does the modern CEO need to become a creator?

Today’s most dynamic business leaders aren’t just leading companies, they’re leading conversations, building communities, and showing up consistently across platforms. The corner office is no longer enough.

This proposed SXSW session explores why C-suite leaders increasingly need to think and act like creators, and how they can build visibility and influence without turning content creation into a second full-time job.

The conversation with Michael Nyman of ACC, Mark Pasetsky of Mark Allen & Co, and Copacino Fujikado’s Andrew Gall will unpack why public forums are becoming a measure of leadership, how executives can translate their existing voice and priorities to new platforms, and what skills and support they need to develop a sustainable creator cadence.

Think the C-suite is ready for its creator era? Vote for the session in the SXSW PanelPicker!

Big sporting moments can put a city on the world stage, but how do you turn that attention into lasting impact?

As the U.S. prepares to welcome fans for the Women’s World Cup and the Olympics, Stephanie Byington of Visit Seattle and Copacino Fujikado’s Andrew Gall will explore how host cities and sponsors can harness the energy of global sporting events to build community participation, strengthen destination brands, and inspire long-term loyalty.

Their proposed SXSW fireside chat will dig into global awareness marketing, citywide platforms, immersive fan activations, and the strategies that can turn a moment on the world stage into long-term destination growth.
