The occasion brought our Charm together - to the same place and in the same time zone - for the very first time since our newest Marketing Manager, Sarah, started at Hummingbird.

Feeling stuck, impatient, unfulfilled? ⬇️

It’s tempting to rush past challenges — to skip the messy middle and land in the next chapter, the wonderful place where everything works out and you relish in all the delicious fruits of your labor. 🍇🍷

But before every dream job come the rejection emails.
Before every fresh start comes the goodbye.
Before every confident “I’ve got this” was a whole lot of “I have no idea what I’m doing.” 😵‍💫

Unfortunately, very few paths in life come with shortcuts. Often, the only way out is through. 🛣️ Realize that the challenges and setbacks aren’t stopping you from getting the life you want — they’re a necessary part of the journey.

The space between where you are and where you want to be, is the doing, the waiting, the failing, and the becoming. 🦋

The quiet in-betweens are often the moments where wisdom is gained, resilience is built, and plans are refined. 💫

You can’t skip this chapter for the next one. But you can do it slowly, or messily, or scared. You can do it without all the details ironed out; you’re allowed to make mistakes. But you cannot skip the here and now. ✨

This is a message of patience. But remember: patience isn’t the same as standing still. It’s trusting that the roadblocks and speed bumps are preparing you for the path ahead. Your growth is happening, even on the days you feel stuck at a standstill or even two steps back. 🌱

You haven’t failed or fallen behind. If it feels hard to see right now, that’s okay. One day you’ll look back and realize you were right where you were meant to be, writing your story, one page at a time. 💜

Marketers throw the best weddings. 💍 Creative details, unique takes, and carefully planned logistics that all come together to create something standout and unforgettable — that’s literally our life’s work! 💐 💕

So, calling all newlyweds-to-be, girlies with a vision and a Pinterest board, and fiancés caught up in the planning process! While we’re not wedding planners, we are giving away a bunch of creative wedding ideas.
