Last week, our team joined the Renton Regional Community Foundation to celebrate the power of community and the impact that is possible through a collective purpose and shared values of love, understanding, and trust. The event raised money and action for the CARE Together Fund, which supports Black and Brown-led and serving organizations in South King County that provide essential services.

Our team was honored to support in bringing together 250+ nonprofit and philanthropy leaders to hear from founder Vu Le on his newest release: Reimagining Nonprofits and Philanthropy: Unlocking the Full Potential of a Vital and Complex Sector.

Vu’s book encourages readers who work in philanthropy and nonprofits to challenge outdated philosophies and practices, offering new ideas and approaches that are grounded in trust and justice. During times like this, the work of Ile Kimoyo and Vu Le isn’t just necessary—it’s the foundation for our collective future rooted in our shared humanity.

At Pyramid, Earth Day means supporting Indigenous-led efforts to protect lands and waters across the globe. We're proud to work with organizations like , , and working everyday to protect their ancestral homelands. 🌎🌱

Indigenous people have fought to protect their homelands, traditional food systems, and way of life, which have sustained our world since time immemorial. Indigenous people represent less than 5% of the global population, yet protect 80% of the world's biodiversity. Liz is a Digital Content Strategist here at Pyramid, where she uses her digital expertise and writing skills to help clients plan for, develop, and implement digital content strategies and editorial across multiple channels. Liz has a passion for working with clients in the philanthropy sector and is a firm believer that strong storytelling has the power to incite change.

When Liz is not at work, you can find her reading at a cafe, playing her guitar, or spending time with friends and family.

It’s always a blast when we can step away from work and get the team together for some intentional fun. This time we went to Garage Billiards & Bowl for bowling, arcade games, and a staff favorite: Mario Kart.

It was the perfect way to recharge as we start off 2026!

We were honored to support telling the story of our long-time partner, Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust's Great Expectations initiative. For 10 years, this initiative has focused on ensuring children enter kindergarten ready for success in school and beyond.

Our partner Green Seattle Partnership, recently welcomed supporters, volunteers, partners, and staff at the Magnuson Hangar to celebrate their 20th anniversary!

Muckleshoot Indian Tribe Historian Warren KingGeorge, Seattle City Councilmember Joy Hollingsworth, EarthCorps’ Miguel Ramilla, and Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Lisa Ciecko shared their thoughts on the accomplishments the program has made together over the past two decades, putting the good-hearted efforts of the partnership in the context of a long history of stewardship and land care.

Last month, Pyramid’s Indian Country team supported Lummi Nation and Lummi Nation schools with their mini soccer pitch ribbon-cutting ceremony. The two mini pitches built in collaboration with the RAVE Foundation and Seattle Fifa World Cup 26' Local Organizing Committee offer Lummi youth a safe and engaging space to connect, stay active, and strengthen their identity.

These mini pitches are a critical addition to the Lummi community, with 416 backpacks and official FIFA World Cup balls for the students to commemorate the day!

Lummi tribal member and former soccer player, Temryss Lane (Vice President, Indian Country), along with Pyramid teammates, connected Lummi Nation with the World Cup LOC and RAVE in their commitment to tribal engagement and the World Cup 2026 legacy.
