We'd like to take a moment and congratulate all of our 2025 candidates who stepped up to answer the call of public service by running for local office this year. It wasn't an easy year (by any stretch of the imagination) but so many excellent folks ran for the first time, stood for their retention elections or ran for re-election. Thanks for having Argo Strategies on the journey with you. We were proud to work with you and are excited for all of the great things that will come next. Onward to 2026!

Today is Argo Strategies' 20th Anniversary. What a wild 20 years it has been. It's been a great honor working with so many wonderful candidates, along side so many dedicated political professionals from all over the country and on behalf of our party.

And, in particular, we really want to spotlight the 70+ paid staff and interns we've had over the years. We feel so very fortunate that our firm has been able to play a small part in the professional journeys of each of these truly talented folks. We would be nothing without their smarts and hard work. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to each person who helped make Argo what it is today, to the clients who have stuck with us through thick and thin, and to our current team who are tireless and who give it their all every election season.

Congratulations to all of Argo's 2021 consulting clients on a fantastic general election night showing! Of course, we have more ballots to count, so we can't quite pop the champagne in all of these races just yet (and we're hopeful we can add two more names to the list!); but, we're happy for each and every one of these fantastic clients.

We are, of course, proud to have helped on each of these races, but we are particularly excited about the new women-led majority on the Everett City Council!

Our firm was honored with 9 "Goldie" Peer Choice Awards this weekend for Campaign Excellence on State Legislative and Local races on behalf of T'wina Nobles, Liz Berry, Roder-Hitchen and Friends of Ryan Mello. We are thrilled to spotlight the amazing work of Eileen Pollet of Ravenna Strategies, Rowley (and his dream team of Kati and Maddie) of Messaging, and our absolute rockstar champ of a designer, Kristine Kaylor of KaylorMade Design.

Their work product last year was stellar and these awards are really a reflection of their talent and hard work. And of course, big recognition to the candidates who inspire us to do this work (and then brag shamelessly about it afterward)! We appreciate you so much!

Excited to be working with Anne Artman for Tacoma City Council!

I am excited to share with you that today I officially announced my run for Tacoma City Council District 5.
For the past two decades, I have served those most in need in our community at the Multicultural Children and Family Hope Center and the non-profit I founded in 2014, the Tacoma Recovery Center. Now more than ever, as Tacoma struggles with a behavioral health, housing and addiction crisis we need experience and leadership like mine on the City Council.

Tacoma has been home to me since I first moved here in 1968 after my father was stationed at Fort Lewis. I grew up attending Tacoma Public Schools and have over the years developed a deep connection to this community. As a single mother, I raised my son in Tacoma’s District 5, and saw first-hand the challenges of families with limited resources for affordable housing, transportation, education, daycare and healthy meals. Now as a service provider, I am seeing families continue to experience these same challenges, which are greatly being compounded by the impact of Covid-19.

I am running to bring the same problem-solving skills and dedication I bring to my work at Tacoma Recovery Center to the Tacoma City Council and the challenges facing our City.

I’ve been preparing for this race for years, investing in my community and building the knowledge base and expertise that will guide me as a councilmember. When I founded the Recovery Center, I did so because I saw a problem that needed to be fixed and just like then I am ready to go to work to solve the problems that are facing our city now.

We are so excited for Argo client, Friends of T'wina Nobles, who has now clearly won her seat for the State Senate in the 28th LD. With too few ballots left for the Republican incumbent to realistically overtake her lead, T'wina now leads Senator O'Ban by 1,034 votes as of today's count. We're calling it: T'wina Nobles will be the next Senator from the 28th LD.

Republicans spent almost $1 million attacking her with some of the most offensive ads you can imagine. And she just kept doing the work. Thank you to everyone who helped deliver this win - we're so grateful. This team did a fantastic job in the toughest of circumstances.

We are so excited to see all the great things Senator-elect Nobles will do for her community. An amazing win for an amazing woman, T'wina Nobles! Congratulations!

We are growing again! We are growing! Welcome to the 2020 campaign cycle our newest Compliance and Campaign Assistant, Caleb Sherman!

Caleb Sherman is a Seattle native, whose love of backpacking and the outdoors has led him to environmental advocacy. His interest in writing made him a Rhetoric, Writing, and Public Discourse major at Whitman College, where he is a Junior. He is focusing on the way that the presentation of political ideas is almost as important as the ideas themselves when trying to make a change. He looks forward to a career in public advocacy.
