When it comes to health and wellness, I have always thought I had it all put together. I've always gotten a good amount of exercise, even for someone who does a job that requires you to sit all day long with your eyeballs glued to a screen. As with the first chapter, Avatar the Way of Water was amazing - visually striking as expected, but pulled me in emotionally much more than anticipated. But, why, for the love of God, with the hundreds of millions of dollars they spent to make this movie, COULD THEY NOT PAY A DESIGNER TO COME UP WITH A BETTER FONT THAN PAPYRUS???? Why why why why why why why why why....... They clearly didn't listen to Ryan Gosling.

The Island Wanderer is a community blog in Bainbridge Island, WA that, as they say on the website, is "all about island living and other musings." My wife and I used to live very near Bainbridge (she grew up there), and are still very connected to the area....

In case you haven't heard, big news for my business - Abell Smith Design is now Grow Your World Web Connections! This rebrand has been in the works for a while, and I'm pretty excited:

What this all means is that I'm niching down even more heavily into small farms, agritourism, locally-sourced food, farmers market vendors, farm-to-table restaurants, food systems and everything in between. I just enjoy working with this clientele from my time at WSU Kitsap Extension, and personal health and nutrition have become such big parts of my life that these are the type of folks I want to work with. The new tagline is - "GYW works for people looking to grow themselves and their worlds in positive ways." Canadian work permit in hand, Surrey BC business license on file, bring on the next stage!

And I'm still continuing to work for all my wonderful current clients, of course...
