The ASUW Office of Government Relations advocates to all levels of government on behalf of the student body of the University of Washington through lobbying efforts, grassroots organizing, and community engagement.

Turn student voices into action. As ASUW OGR’s Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs, you will lead advocacy efforts, shape policy, and create genuine change for students across the state.

Join ASUW OGR and liaisons to local building committees to discuss progress on current housing issues. Join us on May 29th in Savery 131 for a Q&aA and an opportunity for students to share issues with housing they’ve faced that they would like ASUW to work on in the future.

This session was more than just numbers, it was student voices being heard.

ASUW OGR is proud to share our end of Legislative Session update. This year, we successfully passed 4 bills and brought 179 students to Olympia to advocate for change. Thank you to everyone who showed up, spoke out, and made an impact.

We hope to continue highlighting student voices and pushing for tangible change in many more sessions to come.
