In the spirit of switching things up a little bit here, I figured I'd throw in a new "Soundtrack to the Workweek" series where I share the songs that have been on repeat at my desk lately. 😌🎧

I've gotta give RAYE her flowers. This album is seriously one of the best I've heard all year! If you like beautiful symphonies, catchy rap, and spoken word, this one's for you. 🌷 All of the tracks are bangers, but I've been keeping "Click Clack Symphony" on repeat. 🎶 What song are you fixated on at the moment? Drop your faves!

HIPAA and marketing don't have to feel intimidating. ❤️ One of the biggest misconceptions I see from healthcare organizations is that HIPAA somehow prevents them from effectively marketing their practice online (hey, I'll admit I even felt that way once upon a time!!).

The happy truth? You can absolutely build a warm, engaging, and trustworthy online presence while protecting patient privacy - it just takes a little planning and a few thoughtful processes.

In my newest blog post, I'm covering some of the most important elements of HIPAA as they relates to digital marketing, including:
✨ Sharing patient reviews
✨ Responding to online reviews
✨ Patient authorization
✨ Social media best practices
✨ Building a HIPAA-compliant marketing process

My hope is that this guide helps take some of the overwhelm out of healthcare marketing and gives you the confidence to move forward thoughtfully. Happy reading! ✨ https://www.fashionablyfrankmarketing.com/blog/hipaa-and-digital-marketing

Friend, I hope you know it's okay to clock off sometimes. ❤️ I hope you know that your clients or customers are better for it. I hope you know that you deserve a vacation, simply because you are human and not because of how hard you worked to get there. I hope you don't beat yourself up when that email sits in your inbox for longer than a few moments. I hope you recognize that you can't pour from an empty cup. I hope you see that your work is just a part of life, not life itself. I hope you know that the world won't catch on fire if you put your phone down for an hour. I hope you give yourself some grace. I hope you indulge in the sweetest of sweet treats and sit in the sunshine savoring the day. ☀️ I am right there with you, doubting myself but still reaching for that ice cream despite the mean voice in my head telling me to work harder. 😌

Who else has been loving summer for building new hobbies & continuing old ones!? ☀️😌 Here's what I've been up to out of the office...

This summer I took on my very first flower planting/gardening project and a new found love of junk journaling (which, if I'm being honest, is really a mix between traditional journaling + junk journaling + scrapbooking!). I always liked being out in the garden as a kiddo and took scrapbooking camps every summer, so are we really surprised? 😅

Along with my new hobbies, I've still very much enjoyed coloring and reading. I binged a bunch of q***r reads for Pride Month and am now moving on to some fiction gems I have heard nothing but praise about! Have you read anything good lately? Drop your recs in the comments! ✨

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I think business IS personal! 🤭 When you care deeply about your work, your clients, and the experience you’re creating, it’s natural to feel invested. If you feel the same way, know you’re not alone and it’s a superpower to care so deeply. 😌 Who would seriously want a boring robot to help them!?

Highlights from the East Coast ✨ I unplugged last month and headed across the country to visit family, soaking up so many amazing adventures! From seeing The Stonewall Inn in person to sitting 50 feet from our senators at the capitol, I can't quite put into words how magical this trip was. I'll be sitting with this one for a while but I'm so happy to be back to work! 🥰

I am back in action and savoring the memories of my recent East Coast trip! ✈️🇺🇸 We flew into & stayed in Virginia, visited family in Maryland, took a jaunt over to NYC, and explored Washington D.C. My cup is so full! Thanks to my wonderful clients who encouraged me to take time off my phone last month and held me to it. 🥰 You know how hard that is for me!

I used to answer emails the moment I woke up.

Like… eyes barely open, still horizontal in bed, immediately typing responses on my phone before my feet even touched the floor. 😅

At the time, I told myself it meant I was dedicated, responsive, hardworking, reliable. 💪🏼

And while some of that was true, a lot of it was also anxiety, people pleasing, and feeling like I always needed to be immediately available to be “good” at what I do.

Lately, I’ve been trying to approach my mornings differently, especially since my recent diagnosis.

Now, I let myself wake up slowly. I take a peaceful shower. I eat breakfast while scrolling a little. Sometimes I meditate. Sometimes I sit quietly with my thoughts before diving into client work and notifications.

And honestly? I’ve noticed I show up better because of it.

More thoughtful. More creative. Less reactive. 😌

As someone navigating vestibular issues, anxiety, and the general pressures of running a business, I’m learning that sustainability matters more than urgency most days.

The world did not collapse because I answered an email at 9:30am instead of 7:47am from bed! 😂

And if you’re someone who also feels pressure to always be “on,” consider this your reminder that rest, slowness, and caring for yourself are not signs you care less about your work.

Sometimes they’re the very things that help you do it well in the first place. ❤️
