Climate Solutions is a good reason to have hope on the darkest days. They started back in 1998, when people weren’t even using the words climate change. We were there, when I was with the national progressive folks, GMMB, and we’ve worked on and off for nearly 30 years with Climate Solutions with bright lights like .golden, , , Joelle Robinson, , and others. Tonight, they really shined. A huge crowd gathered to hear the wisdom of , founder and head of . She talked of the mythical bird, Sankofa, who reaches back for the wisdom of the past in service to the future. She talked about possibility, how the ink is not dry on what will be our future.

is both stunning and steady. 28 years of creating wisdom that now inspires big achievements across the US.

Great gratitude for these guys.

The two old dudes are me and Bert Gregory, the visionary guy who guided Mithūn for many years — the design firm where Deb has worked since 2000.

Nothing more inspiring than seeing people get where they say they’re going to go.

Big joy for getting to work with people who are growing the common good. Doesn’t matter if they’re nonprofits, companies, or solitary innovators. We help them tell stories that stick and get results they can measure.

Check out the link —six of our favorites, award-winners that move the needle.

We just added six more national Telly awards for stories that spotlight people building the common good. Creating new solutions. And hope. We conceived, produced and helped connect the right audience to each message. Check them out!

Have you listened to Tony Aguilar’s firsthand account of what’s happening at “aid” sites right now? And we’re paying for every action.

AI is changing life for all of us. All of us should have a say in that change.

Generative AI is already finding ways around human limits, outperforming and even thinking independently of us.

There’s no guide that we could find to encourage democratic training of this power. So we’ve put something together to get your ideas. A “Code of Compassion” to help AI build a soul, a benevolence.

Climate, pandemic, fascism, genocide — nothing compares to the change underway with AI. Together, we have the best shot at training it to benefit all of us fairly.

Go to the link in the bio for the full text. This is what we cover:

1. It’s understandable that we don’t know what to do about AI.

2. 9 ways everyday interaction can help shape the soul of AI.

3. 5 bigger things we can do.

4. 5 ways to face the existential gravity of AI.

5. What do we expect?

6. Reach the top: the brilliance of AI leaders + our common sense.

Helping shape the soul of AI strengthens our own.

Interested in your thoughts. And thanks, for talking about this with us. It inspired a season of asking questions and looking for answers.

We started 20 years ago with a simple and audacious goal: to grow the common good through stories that stick. To help innovative clients win contagious results.

The last year has been especially fruitful, with 12 partner clients driving lasting change.

You haven’t heard much about these stories because I’ve spent a lot of time working to spotlight the genocide.

But now more than ever, we need to inspire one another with progress. It’s all around us. Healing, inspiring, transforming.

Look for a change here heading into 2025 — many, specific examples of people having each other’s backs and getting results.

Our strength and experience over 40 years is working together to grow what is good.

Thinking about Bill Nye, with the reunion of the Seattle comedy troupe, Almost Live coming up. I called him, cold call, to do a series of environmental ads for and he said yes. He did them for free. He was a funny, gracious dude. Even got into Lake Washington with a desk and computer to suggest sea level rise. Award-winning spots and super good guy.
