Let me reintroduce myself. 🐟 I started Get Fish Slapped at my dining room table in 2015, and in the 11+ years since, there have been a lot of versions of me:
⤏ The new business owner figuring it out as I went
⤏ The marketer who became a CEO
⤏ The team builder (and occasional problem solver of ALL the things 😂)
⤏ The speaker who discovered how much I love teaching
⤏ The strategist who is endlessly curious about what’s changing in marketing
⤏ And, most importantly, Mom to two amazing girls ❤️
Somewhere along the way, that little agency grew into a full-service marketing company with an incredible team—and I grew right along with it.
These days, I’m especially fascinated by AI, search, consumer behavior, brand, and what it all means for businesses trying to grow.
So you’ll be seeing more of that here: what I’m learning, what we’re testing, business ownership, marketing, and a little life mixed in.
