August was dedicated to celebrating the incredible people who serve our communities through compassion and care!

We honored Church members that stand out! Church members often volunteer their time and are the unsung heroes, who help to support individuals and families, strengthen our communities, and make a lasting difference every day.

Congratulations to all who were nominated! You truly all are winners in everyone's hearts! We randomly drew 2 winners that will be recognized as KDRO's August Hometown Hero, proudly sponsored by McDonald's.

I had a chance to speak with Governor Mike Kehoe at the State Fair on Thursday, August 20th. He was talking about the importance of tourism in Missouri.

Governor Kehoe says tourism is the the Number Two industry in the Show-Me-State, right behind agriculture.

The event was held in the Mohler Assembly Hall and hosted by the Sedalia Convention & Visitor Bureau.

Senator Rusty Black and State Representative Brad Pollitt also spoke at the event. I

In attendance was Sedalia Mayor Traves Williams and Pettis County Commissioners Israel Baeza and Bill Taylor.

Huntin' & Fishin' with Harry invited CASA on his show Saturday. The show aired on KDRO 8/8 at 7am. So if you missed it, here is the video of one part of the show.

Harry invited CASA to do a 3 week segment to introduce all 3 MR IN HER SHOES Contestants. This week we featured Josh Cornine, with Mid City Lumber. On the Show was Harry, Connor Thomas & Van, Josh Cornine and CASA's Director of Development, Julie Hoffert.
