Happy Tuesday ✨
I figured I’m about 4 years late for an updated introductory post 😅
My name is Kenna and I own Porter Shirts. We specialize in screen print, sublimation and embroidery! We work with local schools and businesses in the area providing custom apparel.
Before Porter Shirts, I built an Etsy shop making baby onesies and toddler tees that turned into my full time job. Etsy allowed me to stay home with my two kids which was my ultimate goal!
Fast forward, the previous owners of our business posted that they were selling. I had no idea the cost, what the business entailed or honestly where it even was, but figured I’d reach out and see if it was something obtainable. After that meeting, I immediately knew this was for me! I was confident I would be spilling myself into this business despite being an outsider to the area.
I spent the next year working incredibly hard, very long nights, learning embroidery and keeping up with the volume of a bulk t-shirt business; all while juggling kids and life. I finally reached a point where I was able to hire my little sister to work my storefront full time! This was a huge relief for me as I was able to do majority of my work from my home office and remain present for my family.
Throughout the past four years, I’ve made amazing customer relationships, grown as a business owner and learned so much about the true craft of making shirts and apparel. From embroidery, different print methods and knowing various shirt brands; I consider myself an expert now. 😅
It’s hard to believe that I’ve entered my 5th year into owning this cute little space that allows me to truly do what I love. Saying I’m grateful for this business would be a massive understatement, but for it, I am!
Keep Porter Shirts in mind for all of your embroidery needs, bulk orders, fan gear, hats, uniforms and jerseys and custom orders. When you support us, you’re supporting a mother, a small family business and someone who truly values you as a customer 🫶🏼
