Yesterday, we took my grandson Tye Cooper to the emergency room because he had a horrific sore throat. The doctors diagnosed him with strep throat and also found a cyst on his right tonsil. Here we transported him to the Carbondale hospital from the Benton ER, and he spent the night on fluids and antibiotics. After another round of antibiotics, he may get to come home today.
It's worth noting that a cyst on the throat is what killed John Quincy Adams, hence why they call it a "Quincy."
