We were honored to be a part of this amazing tribute for Charlie ♥️

As the sun rises on the morning of the Inaugural Charlie Woodard Classic I feel we need to recognize two awesome people in our community.

First up is Shelly DeGarmo owner/operator of Iron Cotton Screen Printing & Embroidery. Since losing Charlie, Shelly and her team have spent countless hours making sure our shirts were perfect. Shelly took our ideas and made them into a reality. Then we hit her with a curve ball and added 100 hats and a brand new logo to the mix and she didn’t bat an eye. Shelly went as far as closing her own business down on a normal operating day just to make sure our product was complete and ready so that we can all proudly honor Charlie. Thank you Shelly from the bottom of my heart, you made this happen.

Second on the list is Mr. Darrell Bow, the store manager of Walmart Gun Barrel City. When I first approached Darrell about what we were doing, he told me then to not worry, he would make sure we had what we need to make our event a success. Darrell did that and some. Today when you grab a bite to eat or a drink from our concession stands there is a very good chance that Darrell is responsible for it being there. Darrell has truly been amazing, while running one of the busiest Walmarts there is, he took time out of his very busy day and contacted vendors to obtain donations for us.

Thank you Shelly and Darrell, from all of us at the Charlie Woodard Memorial Fund and the Woodard family. Your support has made our mission of honoring Charlie and carrying on his legacy a reality!

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Iron Cotton Screen Printing & Embroidery. I went into her store or Thursday to see if they could put a DTF I already had on shirts for the family! With no hesitation at all she made it happen!! They were done the next day!!
