Our Advanced Scene Study Class brings together various levels of actors into a collaborative environment (*actors must have completed Fundamentals of On-Camera Acting or equivalent). The curriculum focuses on deep script analysis to translate text on the page and turn that into a living, breathing character. You will learn to navigate the specific differences of preparing for auditions versus shooting a scene on set. Actors learn to utilize their physical world while understanding how camera framing impacts their movement. This training builds confidence by teaching you to live authentically in the moment—focusing entirely on being the person in the scene, rather than simply playing them. Outside of class work is required to get the most out of this experience. You may join this program at any time, but space is limited to 10 actors, ensuring quality instruction and enough time for all to delve into the work.
