…Okay, but what are you hoping for?
Because if the answer is, “I need more leads,” and then you tell me you really just want someone to take over posting to Facebook for you, we need to talk about what that marketing is actually going to do.
And listen, taking over your social media may be EXACTLY where we need to start.
If your page is inconsistent, your offers aren’t clear, or people can’t spend five minutes looking at your business online and understand who you are and what you do, then we need to fix that.
That’s your brand and visibility marketing.
We need people seeing you.
We need them understanding you.
We need them learning what you offer.
And we need enough consistency that when they finally need your service, your name comes to mind.
Can that generate leads?
Absolutely.
Someone can see your post Tuesday morning and call for an estimate Tuesday afternoon.
But we can’t build a lead generation strategy around hoping that happens.
If you come to me specifically saying, “I want more leads,” we’re eventually going to need another layer of marketing that actively asks people to do something.
Register. Download. Call. Schedule. Request the quote. Come to the event.
Your visibility marketing is still running.
Now we’re giving some of that visibility somewhere specific to go.
And THAT is where the conversation about lead generation really starts.
