One of two most common manifestations of trigger panic is the lack of ability to bring the sight pin over the center. (And yes, I've struggled with both!)
After some time, I realized that psychologically, this came down to trust, and the lack there of. Your brain tells itself that keep the pin off, and violence (the bow releasing) won't happen.
(Note: Don't ever try to shoot through a shoulder injury!)
And yet, other parts of your unconscious mind are fighting to release the strain of retaining full draw.
Breaking this vicious cycle requires trust. ABSOLUTE trust that the bow will not go off unless I decide.
To bring that decision back into your conscious mind.
"TRUST YOUR INTUITION", is way more than a marketing slogan. An integrated trigger safety was essential to the design!
Just practice simple trigger discipline during the draw cycle (or let down) and this release WILL NOT let the d-loop pass.
