Back in 2022 my family and I moved back to Deep East Texas and I was presented with the opportunity to create a website for the marina in our community.

I jumped right in, learning about the history surrounding this place I had been drawn to time and time again. In doing so, I learned that Huxley Bay Marina was once a bustling little place filled with locals. They even hosted a few of the Dallas Cowboys once back in the 80s.

My goal was to capture the beautiful simplicity of this once big little place nestled in a cove on Toledo Bend Lake, and I think I did just that.

Things have since changed, as they do. The restaurant is closed, there are no more 4th of July firework shows, and no more live music festivals to be planned, but nonetheless I thought I would share my first labor of love.
